Newsletter changes
Most of you will have received your February Newsletter yesterday, but we are aware that a few that were sent out were not delivered so we are re-sending again today. In addition there are some slight changes to the information – please see below.
Auction
The fundraising Shanty Auction is getting close. Wednesday 13th February in the Alma Inn, 19.30 start ready for bidding at 20.00 GMT prompt. We have a really exciting selection of Lots to bid for including concert tickets, meals out, a wardrobe, hampers, cakes and musical instruments. Take a look at the Catalogue on our website https://harwichshantyfestival.co.uk/auction-catalogue/ to see all the Lots available. And don’t worry if you can’t come on the night we will be streaming the auction live, check Facebook and Twitter for the links on the day,
Please note that you can bid by email on auction@harwichshantyfestival.co.uk but pre-registration is very necessary - if you wish to participate remotely please email us (using the above auction email adress) the following details by 6pm on Wednesday 13th Feb 2019:
Only pre-registrations received by 6pm on 13/02/2019 will be accepted and we will be phoning on the day to verify inclusion. Winning bids can then be promptly debited at the end of the evening. Please note we are not able to post heavy items so be aware that there may be some bids we will be unable to accept. Personal details will be deleted once the auction is complete and any outstanding payments have been successfully processed.
Artists Accommodation
We can't let you know our fabulous 2019 Artists line up quite yet, but with the current lack of accommodation in the town we are desperate to find beds for some of our performers. Are there any local residents amongst you who would be able to offer rooms for deserving singers? Despite being Shanty Men we find that most are very well house trained and make excellent guests! We can offer Season Ticket wristbands to households who are able to help out in this way. Please do email info@harwichshantyfestival.co.uk for more details.
